Will this molecular sieve filter drier work with my 1/2 lb Apollo extractor? Do I need any extra hoses etc?

Yes this will work for your 1/2lb apollo. You will need 1 extra hose, 1/4" JIC is most likely the size you have unless you upgraded. The sieve will be placed between the collection base and the LP tank, be sure to get a hose long enough to leave the sieve on the ground undisturbed while moving things around during extraction.
