Although the materials are strong enough to hold up to vacuum pressures, the gaskets are not optimized for vacuum applications so you will not be able to hold vacuum at 1mtorr.
Can this sight glass be pumped down to high vacuum, less than 1 mtorr? 6" Tri-Clamp Tall Sight Glass
