There is not a chiller included in this kit, only a heater. The heater hooks up to the condenser on the short path head, and in relation to the vapors being evaporated during distillation it is drastically lower in temperature so it does allow the vapor to condense and drip into the receiving flask. Using a chiller on the condenser would cause the vapors to condense, but once in liquid form the oil would be too viscous and would not move down the neck into the receiving flask and would create a clog.
The heater in this kit goes up to 135°C and has a flow rate of 8 lpm.
