Depending on the water content, 2lbs of beads can dry about 1.25 liters (starting at 180 proof). The beads are ceramic so they are not toxic, however the dust they create should be filtered out of the ethanol.

If the ethanol was to then be used for making tinctures and herbal extractions would there be anything in the beads it would produce any sort of toxicity to humans
