The 3" Sight Glass very cloudy, it is not clear glass, or can it be polished clear?

Hey there, on each sight glass, there is a very thin film of plastic that is used to protect the glassware during shipping and storage. You would want to carefully peel this thin layer off the top side of the Sight Glass, revealing the clear finish.
