What type of filter paper discs should I use for filtering, i mean size in microns to stop activated charcoal pass

The lower speed filter papers will be best to stop most of the carbon. Realistically to separate all the carbon out, you will need a 1 micron sintered disk. Typically you put a filter paper on top of the sintered disk to collect the bulk of the carbon to not clog the sintered disk so quickly.
