1. Hold the SET key (red cog wheel) until the display reads "AL"
2. Press the SET key several times until the display read "LK" (the K may look like a backwards lower case Y)
3. Set LK=168 and hold the set key until the display reads "YS"
4. Press the SET key 3 times or until the display reads "CF"
CF=1 (Fahrenheit) CF=0 (Celsius) (if you accidentally cycle past this screen and it brings you back around to the main screen restart from step #1)
5. After setting your value, press the set key until it brings you to your temperature screen. (The numbers may drop or increase. Just allow the screen to catch up)
