The 5/16" threaded bulkhead has a thread sealer to attach it to the NPT cross manifold. It is not permanent and can be removed.
Is the 5/16 thread fitting at the bottom of the manifold removeable or is it glued/welded? Valve Manifold - Cross with Hose Barb and Vacuum Gauge
