In general, you will attach the clear tubing to the application and attach the purple hose to the vacuum pump. You may need an adapter fitting if your vacuum oven does not have a 1/4" barb fitting. For added trap utility, you can cut a short piece of the tygon tubing to create a diptube on the inside of the chamber. Attach the cut piece to the bottom of the lid on the inlet fitting (from vacuum oven). The chamber can be filled with steel wool to create more surface area to trap any vapors moving through.
