The washer will need to be cut if it is being used on the condenser side of the rotary evaporator. This will allow it to bend and be attached to the glass joint.
Does this come with a lock washer? 2L Electric Rotary Evaporator Retaining Nut
A flat washer won't fit over the condenser. The flat washer only works for attaching the adaptor to the axis.
