A simple rotary vane pump will be good for degassing for silicone mold making purposes. A single stage pump will get low enough, a 2 stage pump is not required. A resin trap is always recommended when working with resins and silicone, it will trap any particles that get sucked into the hose and help keep your vacuum pump in good condition.
